Heading up ventures for major indie label Monstercat in the Asia Pacific, Stephen lays claim to some of the most experience the Chinese electronic music industry has to offer. Having lived there from 2008 he has developed a business proficiency in the language and played a key role in the industry’s development. Stephen is a founding member of Shanghai’s first ever electronic music festival E Midi, China’s largest electronic music festival STORM, and DianYinTai, one of China’s most influential platforms for electronic music. He has licensed over 2.5 million songs to the Chinese market and has also been a consultant for China’s largest independent music distributor Kanjian Music. Steve's primary role includes building community, establishing channels of revenue and bespoke engagement for regions within APAC.
