Lloyd James Fay

Glasgow, United Kingdom

Hi, my name is Lloyd James Fay and I’m a Glasgow based singer-songwriter.
In April 2013 I released my debut album The Black River Chronicles, an introspective reflection on formative years, childhood stories and forlorn first love in suburban Lanarkshire’s creaking post-steel-industry suburbs on independent label Platform Records, which was recorded at Gargleblast studios with renowned producer/engineer Andy Miller (Mogwai, Arab Strap, De Rosa).
I have since performed solo at Celtic Connections, Spree, Live@Troon and MugStock festivals. And my music has featured on Hollyoaks, BBC Radio and Amazing Radio.
In May 2020 I released my new EP Fake Depth on Kill Jester Records, funded by Creative Scotland. Recorded once again with Andy Miller it is a rumination on modern technology, internet culture and these strange, divisive times.
